2012 Let’s Try to Beat Bullying!

2012 Let’s Try to Beat Bullying!

Events nationally and worldwide are planned throughout the year.

January 23rd – 27th is No Name Calling Week.

The Big March 2012, which will take place on 1 March 2012 and last up to two days: from Manchester to Mumbai, from Naples to New Orleans, from Jerusalem to Johannesburg, and from Budapest to Brasilia. It will culminate with the delivery of a petition to the United Nations Building in New York; asking the United Nations to explicitly enshrine 'bullying' in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

This year’s Anti-Bullying week takes place between 12th and 16th November. “It is an issue that Ofsted focuses on as part of its inspections, and will be placing even more emphasis on in our new school inspection process that we are introducing from January 2012. Under the new arrangements we will give particular attention to how well a school manages pupils’ behaviour and attendance, and promotes and ensures pupil safety from bullying and harassment.”

At the Equality & Diversity Shop we offer a massive range of posters to visually and positively reinforce bullying policies. We feel it must be highly visible that you recognise and will not accept bullying.
